In the spring of 2023, when the world was buzzing with anticipation and anxiety about the advent of generative AI, I received a text from my father asking, "Is the impact of ChatGPT on your work significant?" received a text that read. Talking with my family about coexistence with AI made me feel a little restless, as well as realising that I was living in a reality that resembled the science fiction I had watched as a child. After I had finished the whole exchange with my father, I thought, "AI doesn't know about the dream I had last night..." The whole picture of this book came to me at the moment when I thought of this. MONO/POLY is a 300-page collection of 3 minutes of work that is like a trailer for an old film you've never seen. Hiroshi Iguchi Born 1973. After working for the design team ILLDOZER, he began producing his own work in 2001. In 2009, he released his first collection of works, CULT JAM, from BARTS (TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS).
